Fault Tolerant Capabilities  
In today's world software and hardware systems are becoming more important to our daily lives and hence there is an increasing demand to develop more reliable and efficient software and hardware. Software and hardware developed with fault tolerance capabilities improve the reliability and availability of the system.

We have extensive research experience in the area of fault tolerance in hardware and software systems publications:
  • Evaluation of fault tolerant capabilities
  • Detailed reliability modeling and analysis
  • Applying fault tolerant techniques such as redundancy management, wrapper, multi-layered design diversity
  • Application of Fault Tolerance in Peer to Peer Systems and Mobile Agents
  • Security and Trust Models
We are currently researching different mechanisms to incorporate Fault Tolerance features in practical applications/areas such as the Internet, Grid Computing and Sensor Networks.

We have collaborations with professors at the University of Ottawa.
