Power Engineering:
The power engineering research activities supported by Tecsis mainly focus on the development of advanced power converters and control techniques for powering different IT system applications. With the continuous power consumption demanded by the IT sectors, efficient power converters design and robust controllers are the key to providing an energy-efficient and reliable power architecture for powering small and large IT data centers; computing and communication servers. As renewable energy sources, such as wind or solar energy, are gaining popularity to reduce global warming and conserve depleting sources of fossil fuel, developing green power solutions are the key to the future to satisfy the energy consumption of the IT sectors. Tecsis is involved in developing compact and reliable power electronics converters and combining them with renewable energy solutions to create an energy-efficient IT power environment.
